Had a two-days visit to Lumut recently. The nearest tourist spot is pulau Pangkor but I did not go there. We spent time at Swis Garden Lumut / Damai Laut Resort and had a visit to the ikan kering production center.

I was lucky to be at Penang on December, so I did not miss the yearly fiesta!

Next to Butterfly Farm, there is Muzium Perhutanan Pulau Pinang (Forestry Museum). What will you get here? A lot of information about Malaysia jungle heritage.

I had my time visiting Penang Butterfly Farm, about 15km from the town. I can’t remember exactly, but I think the entry fee is RM15/person. Be quick, this farm is closing at 5.30pm. You can take pictures everywhere, but may NOT do so in the ancient items showroom.
